This included an internship with the Sixth Judicial Circuit Public Defender’s office. Upon graduating in 2003, Bryan accepted a position as an Assistant Public Defender with the same court. During the next two years, Bryan focused on criminal defense, including the handling of misdemeanors, juveniles, and serious felony offenses. Bryan gained significant trial experience during his time at the Public Defender’s office, working on over twelve trials in his first year.
In 2005, Bryan opened the Law Offices of Hannan & Plotnick, P.A. The Firm focused on criminal defense of those accused in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Polk, Pasco, Sarasota, and Manatee Counties. This included the defense of the State of Florida vs. Dieterle, a first degree murder case. This case received national news and was featured on such shows as The O’Reilly Factor and Nancy Grace.
In January 2011, Bryan transitioned his trial work to personal injury law, including such claims as motorcycle accidents, auto accidents, brain injury cases, and slip and fall claims. He was successful in negotiating significant bodily injury claims against a wide array of insurance companies. Bryan has never represented insurance companies. He maintains a steadfast focus on representation of the injured and being their voice and champion in his client’s darkest hours.
In August 2017, Bryan joined the Dolman Law Group Accident Injury Lawyers, PA in efforts to expand his ability to represent those injured throughout Sarasota, Manatee, and Pinellas County.
Bryan as lived in the Manatee/Sarasota County area for the last five years and considers it an honor to represent those living in this area. Bryan is pleased to practice out of the Dolman Law Group Accident Injury Lawyers, PA’s Manatee/Sarasota Office while remaining an active participant in charity groups, his local church, and neighborhood organizations.
