Serious Side Effects of Pharmaceutical Drugs to Know About in Pinellas County

Advances in modern medicine have allowed us to have access to millions of healing drugs. This has led to a multi-billion dollar pharmaceutical industry looking to aggressively market and sell their products to the public as fast as possible. Thankfully in the United States, all new drugs must be tested and approved by the Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) Center for Drug Evaluation and Research. However, as is the case with most things, there are often exceptions and unfortunately some of these exceptions, if overlooked, can cause serious harm to individuals using the product.

Millions of Americans have often been prescribed new medications before the serious side effects of these drugs are brought to the attention of the FDA, who will issue a product recall if the drugs are causing harm.
